Greenville Utilities Commission, a progressive regional utility provider, is seeking a building maintenance co-op student to work 20 hours per week within our facilities maintenance section. This position performs and assists with general maintenance and repairs to buildings and grounds. Duties include but are not limited to maintenance and repairs in the areas of carpentry, masonry, roofing, plumbing, electrical, mechanical and grounds. Candidate will load and unload materials and supplies and will operate utility vehicles, electric-powered man-lifts, and construction equipment. Individual will work as part of a crew or perform duties independently while cleaning and maintaining buildings/facilities/grounds, and will occasionally assist with landscaping and seasonal snow and ice removal duties as required.
Anticipated work schedule - 20 hours per week during normal business hours - Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
