CDL Class A Driver OTR/Regional - NOT LOCAL

Looking for people with strong work ethics.THIS IS NOT A LOCAL POSITION, please submit your resume and valid CDL for consideration. Insurance will automatically reject you as a driver if your driving abstract or any pending tickets have reckless driving, dui/dwi, speeding 15-20 miles over the limit or any at fault accidents.

Duties:

Must be responsible and ready to start working ASAP, as well as taking a road test and a drug test.

OTR drivers can be on the road 2-3 weeks at a time or regional is 6-8 days out.

License has to be without any serious violations, suspensions, ZERO accidents(personal or business) in the last 3-5 years or insurance will not approve the applicant as a driver.

Duties:

Should have license for at least 1.5-2 years with a minimum of 6-8 months tractor trailer experience.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Safely operate a Semi Sleeper Truck with a 53' Reefer.

-Pretrip and post trip is a must and photos must be sent on WhatsApp group messaging for each driver

-Maintaining communication of your locations and status of shipment and deliveries.

- Sweep out trailer and pickup debris after each stop.

- Transport general freight to designated locations.

- Follow assigned stops and schedules for efficient delivery

- Must use routes/directions assigned by dispatch.

- Visually inspect equipment for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

- Maintain HOS when driving regional/OTR

- Keep Accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.

- Send clear pictures or a scanned copy of the entire page showing all 4 corners of each page of both bols or pods or both on some stops to disptach.

Skills:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements

- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role

- Some basic knowledge of truck maintenance and repair procedures

- Ability to operate heavy equipment.

- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines

- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
