Job Description: Experienced Operations Leader and Working Manager to oversee all branch operations, including: field services, shop operations, and business development for established surface pressure control and wellhead company in the oil and gas industry.
Job Pay Scale: Salary $100,000 - $125,000/ year – Based on Experience
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Track and report monthly on key branch performance metrics, including revenue growth, gross margin, on-time delevery rate, safety incidents, and customer satisfaction scores>
- Foster a high-performance team culture by mentoring supervisors, identifying internal leadership potential, and ensuring continuous skill development across departments
- Act as liaison between branch staff and corporate functions such as finance, HR and supply chain. Actively participate in strategy sessions with executive leadership
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations related to environmental, health and safety standards, as well as Department of Transportation requirements for fleet operations
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Track service performance and ensure issues are resolved quickly to maximize retention
- Familiarity with ERP systems (such as Odoo, SAP, or similar), field ticketing platforms and CRM tools is strongly preferred
- Ensure business continuity plans are in place and reviewed regularly, including for equipment failures, weather events, or staff shortages
- Actively participate in local industry associations, events and customer meetings. Limited regional travel (10-15%) may be required
- Safety & Environmental Oversight - working in collaboration with Safety Director to ensure proper: Waste Disposal, PPE Use, Equipment & Fleet Maintenance & Inspection. Develop, support and encourage overall Safety Culture within GLW
- Branch Profitability - Supervision of ~20,000+ sq ft facility, 15+ fleet trucks, 30+ employees. Identify and achieve revenue forcast. Ability to identify revenue deviations before they happen- Facilities Maintenance and Equipment Management
- Production & Service Scheduling and Fulfillment
- Work closely with Project Management and Service Management for quality and timely delivery and installation of goods and services
- Ensure on time deliveries
- Oversee ordering, storing, receiving and distribution processes of Products and supplies
- Freight Managment
- Business processes, proceedural training and supervision
- Shipping/Receiving, production, service, etc.
- Business Development - seek out and engage potential new customers. Respond to all inquiries for Sales & Service
- Human Resources - Employee Performance Evaluations, Employee Disciplinary Actions, Employee Onboarding and Terminations
