Bookkkeeper

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.

Duties

- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations

- Process invoices and payments

- Administer and submit biweekly payroll and employee reimbursements

- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for management review

- Government reporting (CRA, GST, PST, WCB, WorkSafe BC, CARM and BC Health Tax)

- Assist with invoice entry into Cortex

Skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office

- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics accounting software an asset

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

- Capable of working independently and collaboratively with others

- 5+ years experince (please don't apply if you don't have)
