BATCH IQ FURNACE OPERATOR

JOB SUMMARY

- Perform all duties required of an Automatics Operator. These duties may include working with the loaders/lead loader.

- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and operating all the equipment that pertains to the automatics area.

- Documentation is very extensive and the position requires a fast pace to be maintained.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· Able to coordinate equipment, personnel, customer commitments, and timely delivery

· Operate all furnaces and support equipment to operating standards

· Ability to follow and communicate instructions and specifications concerning racking procedures in order to produce quality product.

o This will require following and helping to establish written procedures for the operation all equipment, emergency procedures, quality procedures, ensuring proper loading of all jobs, and following safety regulations.

· A high level of production and accurate records are maintained

· May require use of grinders, sanders, cut-off saws, Rockwell/Brinell testers, etc.

· Safe work area, including knowledge of using the fork truck to load and transfer orders

· Perform all other duties assigned by immediate supervisor and other management may be required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Must have a good attendance and work record

· Must be able to lift 75 lbs.

· Must have the ability to work without supervision and follow written procedures

· Must be motivated, self-directing, organized, and able to multi-task

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
