Production Machine Operator

We are currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will take ownership of machine setup, operation, and routine maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This position requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to keep production moving smoothly.

Responsibilities:

- Set up, operate, and adjust machinery according to production specifications

- Monitor machine performance and product quality, adjusting as needed

- Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or operational issues during production

- Load raw materials and unload finished products safely and efficiently

- Operate forklifts to move and position materials

- Ensure accurate tracking of inventory using scanners and documentation systems

- Perform routine preventive maintenance and report issues needing repair

- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency

- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines

We welcome applications from candidates with varied backgrounds. Training is available for the right candidate, but the following qualifications are preferred:

- Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

- Hands-on mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot issues on the fly

- Experience with forklifts and material handling

- Familiarity with metal building materials (preferred, but not required)

- Ability to regularly perform heavy lifting and physical work

- Basic computer skills for inventory and production tracking

- Commitment to teamwork and a continuous improvement mindset

Hours:

- Working hours are Monday-Friday 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. Promptness is essential as we kick off our day with a morning meeting at 7:30 am.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
