Overview:
Pembina Pipeline Corporation’s Transmission Business Unit (TBU) is actively hiring a technically skilled Technologist or Engineer, Automation to support and enhance pipeline control systems. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in automation and controls, who thrives in a dynamic environment and embraces continuous learning and improvement. You’ll work across disciplines to ensure system integrity, drive innovation, and uphold operational excellence.
Transmission Pipelines Business Unit (TBU) Pembina's Transmission Pipeline assets have developed through the strategic acquisition of key natural gas, ethane and condensate transportation infrastructure assets, positioned in some of the most prolific gas producing regions in western Canada and the United States. Pembina's Transmission Pipelines provide customers with access to premium markets primarily on a fee-for-service basis under long-term contracts through long-haul pipelines.

This role may be based in Calgary, Grande Prairie, Sherwood Park, or Drayton Valley, Alberta. The successful applicant must live within 100km of the reporting location. Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
This position is considered “Safety Sensitive” and so will require Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Testing which includes testing for marijuana metabolites. You may also be required to provide a Driver’s Abstract. Pembina’s Flexible Work Standard provides the option for eligible employees to work remotely on Friday.
The successful candidate must be legally able to work in the country of the position. Final candidate will be required to undergo Pre-Employment Background Checks including a Criminal Record Check.
