Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be adept at working with various automation systems. This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and optimizing automated equipment to ensure efficient production processes. The Automation Technician will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and reliability.
Responsibilities
•Troubleshoot and repair automation systems, including high voltage and low voltage equipment.
•Maintain and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate performance of machinery.
•Work with logic controllers to program, test, and implement automation solutions.
•Conduct field service operations to install and maintain automated systems at client locations.
•Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve system performance and reliability.
•Document all maintenance activities and report on system performance metrics.
•Ensure compliance with safety standards while working with high voltage systems.
Skills
•Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery and systems.
•Proficiency in working with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.
•Experience with logic controllers, including programming and troubleshooting capabilities.
•Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters for diagnostics.
•Field service experience, demonstrating the ability to work independently at various locations.
•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in maintaining equipment functionality.
•Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
