Summary
Sunoco Race Fuels is the leading race fuel in the US, with over 50% market share, and powers NASCAR and other motor sports sanctions. Sunoco is seeking a driven, Race Fuels Sales Support intern to support the sales team to drive further growth in the category. The candidate will work closely with sales leadership, marketing, and operations to support key activities to expand Sunoco’s footprint for the Race Fuels division.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
•Responsible for driving and margin and sales of more than 2.9 billion annual gallons of branded fuel across Sunoco’s network including channel 50 and 10 businesses
•Leads cross functional coordination across trading, supply, scheduling and sales management teams to independently price 1,100 products per day
•Regularly requires exceptional critical judgement, thought leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills to perform the job at satisfactory level
•Provides product and terminal level Wholesale and Branded Rack pricing decisions, NYMEX Deals and Off-Rack Deals designed to enhance net revenue dollar contribution through effective balancing of volume and margin.
•Position requires the daily review of supplier rack prices and relative competitive position, terminal level volume and margin trends, and available inventory, including Saturday and holiday reviews.
•Takes comprehensive view of market and channel ownership, with a degree of independence.
Requirements
• Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

•BS in Business, Finance, Administration, or Marketing. MBA preferred.
• 0-2 years of related experience
• Prior internship or work experience strongly preferred
•Distinctive proficiency in SAP, Excel and Right Angle. Experience in deep financial analysis, SQL-based macros and complex modeling
•High analytical and negotiation competence.
