The Pricing Analyst will develop, analyze and support rate design and related activities by justifying new and existing rates and pricing contracts for the electric utility. The position will: Develop and recommend pricing strategies; Prepare for and obtain Commission approval of new rates, modifications to existing rates and individual pricing contracts; Develop and deliver oral and/or written testimony in support of these filings and/or rate cases; Transform pricing concepts into functional rates utilizing costing data, utility operational characteristics, customer input, and regulatory environment; Design and construct pricing models needed to analyze the potential impact new rates and rate changes have on the electric utility company and the effect on targeted customers; Provide Industrial Services, Retail Energy Solutions and Customer Service Centers with customer contact, support dealing with questions on price design and the performance of individual rate impact analysis; Establish, analyze and support the methodologies and assumptions used in the Marginal Cost Study; Use other cost studies and related information to support the cost development of rates; Review and modify existing rates as necessary to assure maximum effectiveness and proper balance between cost and benefit; Design, develop, maintain and coordinate manual billing programs and their processes with Customer Service Centers as needed (e.g., Real Time Pricing and other hourly rates, Small Power Producer, Distributive Generation and others as required); and Work with all electric company departments and/or consultants on the exchange of information for regulatory filings. Position allows working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Annual salary between: $77,958-$103,785.

Requires at least a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Economics, Marketing, or a related field. Must possess 1 year (12 months) of experience with all the following skills: (a) conducting data analysis to develop business strategies; (b) developing frameworks and models through data analysis; (c) manipulating data using advanced Excel: Pivot tables, VBA, Macros, SUMIF, COUNTIF, IFERROR, Index Match, VLOOKUP, and HLOOKUP ; (d) collaborating across different business departments to develop business initiatives; and (e) presenting and defending results and findings to outside stakeholders. All experience may be gained concurrently. Position allows working from home within commuting distance of worksite location.
