Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management activities, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and effectively. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent time management abilities, and a solid understanding of construction processes. The Associate Project Manager will work closely with project teams to coordinate tasks, manage schedules, and ensure compliance with project specifications.

APM RESPONSIBILITIES:
Planning: Developing the project idea, defining project goals, and creating a detailed project plan
•Assist Project Managers with tracking each project’s progress from start to finish and inform of any issues or concerns.
•Review and understand the project specifications received from Customers for each project.
•Coordinate site conditions, logistics and schedule requirements with construction leadership.
Resource management: Planning resources, managing staffing, and allocating resources
•Assist Project Managers with the hiring process for new Subcontractors and/or field managers.
•Negotiate any requested change work order or back charge by the Customer, ensuring contractual approval and/or proper documentation prior to work taking place and notifying the Project Coordinator to follow the proper approval process.
•Assist with hiring, training and motivating field supervisors and explain company processes.
•Assign or replace gear and equipment to Field Managers and Subcontractors when needed.
Communication: Keeping stakeholders informed and engaged, resolving issues, and ensuring the team remains motivated
•Cover for Project Manager when he’s out of town.
•Represent the company at GC Meetings and obtain access to plans.
•Attend all production meetings for each assigned project
•Oversee the Field Managers as they communicate any change order work with the construction team and follow the proper process of notifying the team of completion so work can be invoiced to customers in a timely manner. – Field Manager
•Establish and maintain good relationships with customers.
•Oversees the Field Manager in coordinating the request for information (RFI) process, ensures RFIs are distributed to the necessary operations.
•Troubleshoot any issues beyond the expertise of the Field Manager which can impact on the project.
•Have good communication with builders, owners and installers.
•Communicate all the necessary information regarding each project to the construction team.
Project progress monitoring: Monitoring project progress and setting deadlines
•Verifies the subcontractor’s production progress and notifies PM to approve payment.
•Manage and/or coordinate on-site personnel, equipment and material resources.
•Communicate status of assigned projects at the weekly production team meetings.
•Assist the Project Manager to maintain the Subcontractor weekly tracker (Planilla) up to date on a weekly basis.
Project documentation: Maintaining project documentation and handling compliance or regulatory issues
•Ensure adherence to all Sub- contract’s agreement terms.
•Ensure adherence to all OSHA terms.
•Ensure Field Manager enforces company quality standards on site.
•Ensure that subcontractors have the training.

QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor’s degree in business administration or another related field.
•3 years of prior experience.
•Strong communication and time management skills.
•Proven experience with organization, critical thinking, and problem-solving in time-sensitive situations.
•Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.
•Ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans.
•Strong skills in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and General computer skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
