We are currently looking to hire Assistant Project Manager who will be highly skilled and knowledgeable regarding the proper installation of commercial water and wastewater piping systems and possess at least 2 years experience in project management and 5 years in project assistance.
Assistant Project Manager’s Responsibilities:
•Provide technical on-site assistance on projects to superintendent in the field
•Identify conflicts between specs and drawings and present solutions
•Draft RFIs, Change Orders and perform Submittal review
•Provide input for job costs reviews and updating
•Assist superintendent in field verifying dimensions and with layout
•Maintain professional relationship with all project stakeholders
Assistant Project Manager’s Requirements:
•Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management and 5 years in project assistance
•Bachelor’s degree in construction management, allied field, engineering, or equivalent experience
•A general understanding in wastewater, landfill, and industrial applications experience
•A general understanding of wastewater process and typical water and wastewater equipment (clarifiers, filters, UV, blowers, aeration systems, mixers, gates, metals, structural steel)
•Thorough knowledge and understanding of Mechanical, Architectural, Civil and Structural drawings
•Thorough knowledge of construction technology, equipment, and methods
•Excellent scheduling and costing skills
•Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
