Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a solid understanding of payroll processes, budgeting, and account reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
•Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
•Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
•Perform account analysis and reconciliation for various accounts.
•Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to maintain accurate records.
•Collaborate with the Controller to develop budgets and forecasts.
•Utilize our accounting software for efficient financial management.
•Ensure timely completion of audits and assist with external audit requests.
•Support the implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets.
•Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff as needed.
•Utilize and enhance our ERP system to drive efficiency
What We're Looking For
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Relevant experience will be considered.
•Proven experience in an accounting role, preferably as an Assistant Controller or similar position.
•Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations.
•Proficiency in a variety of accounting software.
•Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for account analysis and reconciliation tasks.
•Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial forecasting.
•Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
•Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
