- Lead multi-functional teams in the design and implementation of complex power and system optimization initiatives, with a strategic focus on supporting growth initiatives

- Lead all aspects of and improve energy usage audits, using advanced analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement, particularly as they relate to expanded system capacity.

- Advise senior management and executive partners on system performance, power initiatives, and strategic direction, ensuring alignment with growth objectives.

- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve a comprehensive library of system optimization guidelines for operational teams, incorporating standard methodologies for expansion readiness.

- Analyze and interpret utility rate structures, contracts, and regulatory requirements to identify and capitalize on optimization opportunities.

- Prepare and review power surcharges, Renewable Energy Credits, and compliance documentation for regulatory bodies, with a focus on supporting new and expanded operations.

- Provide recommendations for utility rate structure design to align with operations and power saving initiatives

- Mentor and provide technical leadership to advisors and junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Who You Are

You have:

- 7+ years of progressive experience in power/system optimization, electric utility operations, or related fields in addition to a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, data science, mathematics, or a related field with economics, business and engineering being preferred

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, programming (Python, R, or similar) and custom software tool
