Apprentice Lineman Wright, WY (January 2026)

Powder River Energy Corp. (PRECorp) is a member-owned electric cooperative serving five counties in northeast Wyoming with residential and commercial electric service. PRECorp is accepting applications for an Apprentice Lineman position to begin January 2026. The location would be in our Wright, WY location.

To safely provide reliable electrical service to the PRECorp membership by the proper installation and maintenance of the power system infrastructure.

Must have completion of an approved power line construction and maintenance vocation technical course.

Must be able to live within a 30-minute report of the Wright site. Must possess a valid CDL with air brakes and combination endorsement and a good safety record.

Previous knowledge of RUS specifications or other electrical industry specifications as they relate to construction framing is preferred. Ability to operate digger derricks, bucket trucks, backhoes, trenchers and other power line construction equipment.
