N Line Electric is seeking an experienced Hot Apprentice Lineman (4-year experience preferred, must be at least 21 years of age) to join our team in Longmont, Colorado. We mainly operate in Colorado in Wyoming however we are looking for experienced travelers too.
The Lineman Apprentice performs new construction and maintenance work on overhead and underground distribution lines under the supervision of a Journeyman Lineman.

WORK HOURS: 7a.m.–3:30p.m., half-hour lunch, Monday-Friday. Overtime as necessary. On-call
- Build and maintain distribution overhead and underground lines and facilities, both energized and de-energized.
- Plan jobs to ensure compliance with approved safety and construction standards and procedures.
- Stock line trucks and maintain tools and equipment.
- Drive, maintain, and operate line vehicles and properly stations them for the work to be done.
- Perform less difficult and/or routine installations and repairs independently and with minimal supervision.
- Troubleshoot activities, as needed.
- High school diploma or GED
- Enrollment in an accredited line apprenticeship (minimum 2 years completion required)
- Previous experience as an apprentice lineman or lineman helper. Completion of an accredited line school program a plus.
- Valid Commercial Driver License (Class A) with acceptable driving record based on driving requirements for the position.
- Perform heavy manual labor requiring manual dexterity under varying weather conditions.
- Observe, compare, or monitor data to determine compliance with prescribed operating or safety standards.
- Perform physical inventory of materials.
- Perform precise arm-hand positioning movements and maintains static arm-hand position.
- Proficient in the use of instruments to measure electrical current and voltages.
- Understanding of basic electric theory and terminology.
- Ability to interpret and read graphic instructions such as blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts and other visual aids preferred.
