We are seeking a Licensed Apprentice Plumber with experience in commercial construction to assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems on large-scale commercial projects. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow directions from journeymen or foremen while learning and growing in the trade.
- Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial plumbing systems including water supply lines, waste drainage, venting, and fixtures.
- Support journeyman plumbers and foremen with layout and installation of piping systems in accordance with blueprints and building codes.
- Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes using hand and power tools.
- Perform basic pipe fitting tasks with various materials (PVC, copper, cast iron, PEX, etc.).
- Help with testing plumbing systems for leaks and proper function.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site and adhere to safety standards.
- Load, unload, and inventory materials and tools.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, supervisors, and other trades.
- Valid Apprentice Plumber License in TEXAS.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in commercial plumbing (on active job sites).
- Familiarity with plumbing materials, tools, and installation techniques.
- Ability to read basic blueprints and follow technical instructions.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Comfortable working on ladders, in tight spaces, and in various weather conditions.
- Capable of standing, kneeling, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
