Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications across various platforms. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects utilizing a wide range of technologies, including web development, application development, and cloud services. The Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business needs and enhance user experience.

Duties

- Develop and maintain web applications using technologies such as JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, and front-end frameworks.

- Design and implement scalable backend services utilizing SQL databases like MySQL and SQL Server, as well as NoSQL options when appropriate.

- Build and optimize APIs for seamless integration across systems using RESTful principles.

- Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure to deploy, manage, and monitor applications.

- Collaborate within Agile development teams to plan sprints, review code, and ensure timely delivery of features.

- Use version control systems like GitHub, Git, SVN to manage code repositories effectively.

- Write clean, efficient code in languages including Java, C#, Python, C++, C, and VBA for various application needs.

- Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure software quality and adherence to best practices.

- Assist in troubleshooting production issues and implementing solutions promptly.

- Stay current with emerging technologies and incorporate them into projects when beneficial.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in web development, application development, or software engineering roles.

- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, VBA, and C.

- Hands-on experience with SQL databases like MySQL and SQL Server; familiarity with Linux environments is a plus.

- Familiarity with cloud services including AWS and Azure for deployment and management of applications.

- Understanding of REST APIs, APIs integration, and API security best practices.

- Experience working within Agile methodologies; familiarity with tools like GitHub, Git, SVN is essential.

- Knowledge of front-end development frameworks and tools is preferred.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
