Application Analyst - II

Position Summary

Christus Health is seeking an experienced Application Analyst II to provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for a broad portfolio of clinical and back-office applications. This role requires hands-on experience with clinical 3rd-party systems, specifically Cardiology, Radiology, Lab, PACS, Sleep Lab (Cadwell), and PFT (Breeze Suite).

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of healthcare workflows, advanced troubleshooting skills, experience working within ITIL frameworks, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-regional healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide advanced Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for medium to high-complexity clinical and back-office applications.

- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, ensuring compliance with ITIL-based processes for incident, request, and problem management.

- Support and maintain cardiology, radiology, lab, PACS, Sleep Lab (Cadwell), and PFT (Breeze Suite) systems.

- Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule supporting enterprise desktop and application systems.

- Ensure accurate and detailed documentation in ticketing and knowledge-base systems, including resolutions, workarounds, and recurring issues.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve application stability and prevent future incidents.

- Maintain strong customer service standards while supporting internal and external end users.

- Recommend process enhancements, system controls, and preventive measures to reduce repeat issues.

Required Experience & Qualifications

- Experience supporting clinical third-party healthcare applications (preferred: Cardiology, Radiology, Lab, PACS, Cadwell Sleep Lab, Breeze Suite PFT).

- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, collaboration tools, and related back-office systems.

- Hands-on experience with ITIL practices for incident, problem, and change management.

- Ability to troubleshoot complex application issues with minimal oversight.

- Strong communication skills with a customer-centric approach.

- Ability to work effectively within a remote team environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $75.00 - $78.33 per hour
