We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in data entry, Quick Books, have a high level of accuracy, confidentiality, and an ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments. This is a fast-paced environment.
- Manage and track job costing to accurately allocate labor costs to specific projects or cost centers.
- Collaborate with HR and accounting team to improve process efficiency.
- Generate financial reports and assist in budget tracking, cost allocations, and variance analysis as needed
- Accounts payable/receivable functions, including invoice processing, vendor payment reconciliation and back deposits
- Support the preparation and submission of financial reports for leadership
- Maintain accurate financial records of all transactions
- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard companys assets and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting
- Proficient in excel and Quick Books
- Strong understanding of job costing and labor allocation principles.
- Admin background
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- 2+ years of experience in accounting- Experience in QuickBooks
- Knowledge of certified payroll or prevailing wage reporting
