About This Job

Position Description:

The Analytics Developer works closely with data analysts and team leads to build and deploy analytics solutions utilizing chosen technologies. The developer is responsible for:

•

Extracting data from source systems

•

Transforming the data to be fit for purpose

•

Loading the data model into the visualization layer

This role requires experience in the design, deployment, and management of large-scale data services.

Key Responsibilities (Deliverables):

•

Design, automate, and manage data acquisition, transformation, and loading in a high-volume, high-availability environment

•

Manage data pipelines and code repositories, and resolve failures

•

Architect and implement state-of-the-art data analytics architecture

•

Provide production support to solve immediate problems

•

Analyze customer and support team data requirements and determine best technical solutions

•

Collaborate with business and technical partners to understand data needs

•

Work with the Solution Architect to define data storage and transformation architecture

•

Mentor other staff in service delivery and problem resolution

•

Develop and execute unit tests and document results

•

Incorporate security requirements into design

•

Create functional and technical specifications

•

Implement data storage procedures and retention policies

•

Deliver solutions using agile/sprint methodology

•

Participate in daily stand-up meetings
