Aluminum Railing Welder

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to work effectively on construction sites and in manufacturing environments. Responsibilities

- Perform MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding on various materials including sheet metal and pipe.

- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.

- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively for fabrication tasks.

- Conduct assembly of metal components as per design requirements.

- Ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards during all welding processes.

- Perform rigging tasks as necessary for lifting heavy components.

- Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to ensure precision in fabrication.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

- Proven experience in welding with a strong understanding of various techniques including MIG, TIG, FCAW, and Stick welding.

- Familiarity with site operations and safety regulations.

- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

- Experience with fabrication processes including ductwork assembly and pipe threading.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.

- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, cranes, forklifts, and press brake machines safely.

- Min. 2 Years welding experience on Aluminum Railing

- Previous experience in manufacturing or construction environments is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.70-$31.69 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
