Stainless Steel Welder

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Stainless MIG & TIG Welder to join our fabrication shop team. The successful candidate will primarily be welding stainless steel components and assemblies, contributing to high-quality custom fabrication projects. This is a hands-on role in a supportive shop environment with steady, full-time hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel, ensuring strong, clean, and precise welds

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications

- Measure, cut, and fit materials accurately prior to welding

- Inspect welds for quality assurance and compliance with standards

- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time

Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of experience with stainless MIG and TIG welding

- Proficiency in welding techniques for stainless steel

- Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings and blueprints

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

- Knowledge of shop safety procedures and practices

- Welding certifications (CWB or equivalent) are an asset but not required
