We are seeking an AI Engineer who will develop and deploy AI-driven technologies designed to enhance clinical decision-making, patient care, and mental health outcomes. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, researchers, software engineers, clinicians, neuroscientists, and product teams to create innovative solutions leveraging machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and multimodal techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
•AI Development: Build solutions using SOTA AI models and architectures, including generative AI, NLP models, predictive analytics, multimodal solutions, and fine-tuning AI models.
•AI-Driven Data Processing: Develop models for structuring, classifying, and extracting insights from clinical, operational, and patient-reported data.
•LLM Integration & Prompt Engineering: Designing structured prompts, tool usage, and system messages
•Natural Language Processing (NLP): Develop tools to extract, summarize, and contextualize medical information from structured and unstructured data sources (clinical notes, patient histories, diagnostic reports).
•Multi-Agent Systems Design: Coordinating multiple specialized agents with shared memory/state and Human-in-the-Loop interfaces
•Implementation & Deployment: Engineer scalable, robust, and production-ready AI systems within our proprietary clinical technology stack.
•Data Engineering & Pipelines: Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines to process and normalize diverse data streams, ensuring efficient data flow.
•Automation & Intelligent Workflows: Implement AI-driven automation for real-time information retrieval, task prioritization, and clinical decision support.
•MLOps & Infrastructure: Ensure best practices in model deployment, monitoring, version control, and continuous integration in regulated environments (HIPAA, FDA).
•Scalability & Performance: Optimize AI models and pipelines for real-time, low-latency performance, ensuring reliability and accuracy.
•Microservices & API Design: To modularize tools, skills, and external actions agents can take.
•Async & Event-Driven Programming: Handling parallel tasks, memory updates, and long chains of reasoning
•Security & Compliance: Maintain AI-powered solutions compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
•Research & Innovation: Stay abreast of AI trends and integrate new techniques to solve complex problems in mental and behavioral healthcare.
•Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed documentation of AI models and processes, adhering to ethical and regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or related discipline.
•3+ years of professional experience developing and deploying machine learning and AI models.
•Proficiency in Python and AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
•Working knowledge of AI development, monitoring, and agentic frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangSmith, LangGraph, or similar).
•Expert knowledge of test-driven development techniques as applied to non-deterministic AI systems.
•Experience in NLP techniques (transformers, spaCy, GPT/Claude/Gemini)
•Expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
•Experience with MLOps, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines in regulated environments.
•Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7).
•Strong understanding of data privacy, security, and compliance (HIPAA, SOC 2).
Preferred Qualifications:
•Prior experience deploying AI solutions in healthcare settings, particularly psychiatry or neurology.
•Experience developing agentic AI systems using frameworks like LangChain.
•Experience with voice-based AI systems or real-time clinical support models.
Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position includes:
$180-250k, depending on experience, qualifications, and location.
Discretionary bonus and/or stock option grants based on company and individual performance.
