AI & Automation Analyst

Position Summary:

The AI and Automation Analyst is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions and software that improve business efficiency and ensure seamless system integration. This role sits at the intersection of business process improvement and software engineering, combining analytical problem-solving with technical expertise. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders across departments to understand workflow pain points, identify opportunities for automation, and implement scalable integrations between applications and platforms. The role involves building and maintaining software and automations, scripting process automations, and developing connectors to integrate cloud and on-premises systems.

Key Responsibilities:

- System & Data Management

- Design, develop, test, and deploy automated workflows and system integrations using tools such as Google Gemini, JavaScript, Python, or similar technologies.

- Develop and maintain internal software, APIs, scripts, and data connectors to enable seamless communication between enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, data warehouses, etc.).

- Manage data flows and transformations to ensure accuracy, consistency, and availability across systems.

- Monitor and maintain existing automations and integrations to ensure stability and performance.

- Document solution architecture, data mappings, and system dependencies to support knowledge sharing and compliance.

- Process Improvement & Profitability

- Implement scalable automation solutions that reduce manual work, improve data integrity, and enhance productivity.

- Quantify the impact of automation initiatives through measurable KPIs (e.g., time savings, error reduction, cost efficiency).

- Continuously assess and optimize existing automation solutions to increase reliability and ROI.

- Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in automation and system integration to drive continuous improvement.

- Client Service & Relationship Management

- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

- Provide clear communication and technical support to stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.

- Build strong relationships with end users by delivering effective solutions and ensuring user adoption.

- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients and team members on automation tools, integration strategies, and process optimization best practices.

Qualifications:

- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field, or similar work experience.

- 1-3 years of experience in automation development, software integration and development, or related IT roles.

Technical Skills:

- Experience with JavaScript.

- Experience with other languages such as Python, PHP, CSS and HTML.

- Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and integration design principles.

- Experience with data transformation and workflow management.

- Knowledge of SQL and database integration.

- Understanding of cloud-based systems (Azure, AWS, or similar) and SaaS integrations.

- Symfony Framework Experience (PHP) is a plus

- Stimulus JS Experience (JavaScript) is a plus Redis Experience is a plus

- Django Framework Experience (Python) - experience with the Celery library would be a plus LLM /RAG / Docker and Docker Compose experience is a plus

- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Microsoft Power Automate, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, N8N, etc.) is a plus.
