About This Job

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•

To provide information, assistance, and service to customers in a manner which will promote the sale of merchandise and meet the needs, requirements, and expectations of the consumer.

•

To perform general housekeeping duties. Fertilizer blending and chemical shed inventory and maintenance.

•

Assist with fertilizer loading & unloading

•

Assist NH3 Coordinator with maintenance

•

To receive merchandise as directed by the Agro Manager

•

To display merchandise as directed by the Agro Manager

•

To drive semi loads of bins, augers etc. as directed by the Agro Manager

•

To perform truck maintenance such as cleaning and informing the Agro Manager if any mechanical appointments are required.

•

To be familiar with and adhere to Prairie North Co-op policies and procedures.

•

To operate the point-of-sale terminal and prepare daily cash reconciliation’s when required.

•

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

•

Must be driven to provide a high level of customer service

•

Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills

•

Be punctual and dependable for all shifts

•

To maintain a professional and positive attitude

•

Be physically fit as heavy lifting is involved

•

1A License is an asset but not required
