- Perform maintenance and repairs on aggregate equipment such as conveyors, feeders, washing equipment, diesel engine driven equipment, genset, mobile track equipment, impact crushers, screeners, and jaw and cone crushers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to determine root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance routines to ensure machinery is functioning properly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including parts used and labor hours.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and safety compliance.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns quickly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic failures and perform necessary repairs.
- Install and modify equipment as necessary to meet operational requirements.
- Proven experience as a technician or mechanic, preferably in the aggregate or heavy machinery industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical components of heavy machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics for troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing and resolving equipment issues.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various job sites as needed.
