Your impact

As an Advisor, Total Rewards, you’ll play a key role in ensuring Newmont’s compensation, incentive, and recognition programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our business goals. Your work will directly influence how we attract, reward, and retain top talent around the world.

As part of our team you will

Support the delivery of annual compensation and performance planning cycles

Analyze compensation data, trends, and benchmarks to support market-competitive pay decisions

Lead end-to-end processes for short-term incentives (STI), long-term incentives (LTI), and recognition programs

Collaborate with HRIS, payroll, and finance to ensure accurate and timely payouts

Develop SOPs and communication materials to enhance understanding and transparency around rewards programs

Continuously improve processes to drive operational excellence and compliance

Prerequisites for your success in this role

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or a related field

2–4 years of experience in compensation analysis or a related HR function

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and compensation systems (e.g., MarketPay, SuccessFactors)

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred: Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar credential

Your work environment

You’ll work in a global, matrixed organization as part of the People team, reporting to the Director, Total Rewards. This role requires strong collaboration across HR, Finance, and Payroll functions and offers flexibility while maintaining high accountability for accuracy and results.

This is the salary range for Colorado. If we hire in an alternative location this salary would not apply.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $88,000 - 115,500. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.

This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
