Advanced Care Paramedic

Job Duties:

- Provide medical standby-by services and respond to any emergency as per your training and provincial scope of practice

- Set-up or update STARS site number, and complete BTS paperwork package

- Conduct and maintain proper and accurate headcount unless otherwise advised

- Review and advise on emergency response plans as it relates to a specific site and scope

- Conduct site safety tours and pre-job inspections prior to completing hazard assessments

- Participate in all Safety Meetings. Review SDS for hazardous materials

- Incident reporting and assist in investigations as required

- Participate in emergency drills as required by Bravo Target Safety and/or the Client

- Maintain medical equipment in ready state and submit checklists biweekly

- Maintain a professional and always committed attitude towards all personal on site

- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Must have an active Advanced Care Paramedic license with the Alberta College of Paramedics

- 2 years of prehospital experience

- Oil and gas or construction experience is an asset

- BLS, ACLS, ITLS

- Common Safety Orientation (CSO)

- H2S Alive

- Demonstrated leadership in all aspects of the job with the ability to work in a team environment

- Excellent organizational, written, and communication skills

- Computer proficiency with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite

- Willingness to work away from home for extended periods of time, work long hours and be able to work both day and night shift

- Class 4 driver’s license with 4 or less demerits

Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol testing ?
