FIRST AID ATTENDANT

Fox Exploration Ltd. is accepting applications for an First Aid Attendant with current OFA Level 3 or equivalent for a mineral exploration camp located near Dawson City, Yukon. Fox Exploration provides camp management and support personnel to various clients in the natural resources sector. Established for over 15 years, Fox is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all personnel. Transportation to and from the worksite will be provided.

Job Requirements:

Fox Exploration is seeking an individual for the role of First Aid Attendant. You will play a key role at our remote mineral exploration camp by performing all first aid duties in camp. This position requires an individual who is highly organized and who works well independently and within a team setting. This position reports directly to the Camp Supervisor.

First Aid Attendant Responsibilities:

- Perform first aid duties and be available 24 hours a day in case of emergency.

- Initiate and oversee medical evacuations.

- Ensure first aid supplies and equipment are in good order.

- Ensure applicable Occupational Work and Safety guidelines are adhered to.

- Participate in daily toolbox meetings.

- Work with the Camp Supervisor in the implementation of the Company’s Emergency Response Plan.

- Conduct mock medical evacuation and emergency procedure exercises with site personnel.

- Report all incidents and accidents and maintain record keeping.

Required Knowledge & Experience

- Organizational and management skills

- Basic computer skills

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Highly motivated, team-oriented individual with attention to detail.

- Ability to work a rotational schedule.

- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Ability to work long shifts

Preferred Licensing & Certifications:

- Valid Level 3 First Aid Certification (OFA3) or equivalent is mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Contract length: 2-3 months

Pay: $350.00-$500.00 per day
