Coterra is hiring an Administrative Assistant in Midland, Texas
As an Administrative Assistant for Coterra, you will support the Vice President of Business Units and other various members of the leadership team. You will perform a wide variety of administrative and clerical tasks, such as facilitating correspondence, coordination of calendars and travel, preparation of presentations and reports, coordination of meetings and office events, and performing general office responsibilities, all in a professional and confidential manner. This position is located on site at our Midland, Texas office. This is not a hybrid or remote opportunity.
Work with all personnel to tactfully resolve day-to-day issues within administrative assistant scope
Prepare various reports and maintain files and records using proper business grammar, formatting and punctuation
Coordinate and manage electronic calendars, travel schedules, reservations, options and changes as necessary for PBU Management
Oversee direct bill accounts and reservations for hotels in Midland and PBU operating areas
Assist in the preparation of PowerPoint presentations for meetings and other events as needed
Work closely with Executive Assistant to coordinate and schedule quarterly meetings for the Business Unit
Assist and provide backup administrative support for the PBU leadership team, as needed
Assist with organizing and planning parties and other employee events and activities
Perform backup office services duties, such as answering telephone, greeting visitors and conveying messages on an as needed basis
Assist in drafting officewide communications for various topics on behalf of the leadership team
May assist with external affairs, legal, marketing, regulatory, and accounting tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must be a self-starter with ability to work independently
Must have strong interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy
Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task with attention to accuracy and confidentiality
Must be team player with the ability to adapt to a changing and fast paced work environment
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related role, oil and gas industry preferred
Work is typically performed indoors in an office environment. Incumbents must be able to perform work which includes typing, sitting and standing. In the event that incumbent visits operations worksite, personal protection equipment, including head protection, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety shoes, and flame resistant clothing is required. Safety rules including OSHA and DOT requirements are strictly enforced. Employees must be willing to travel and work extended hours on short notice.
