Join our dynamic manufacturing team in Winston Salem, NC, as a Machine Operator / Technician, where you will play a vital role in our Additive Manufacturing business at Siemens Energy. How You’ll Make an Impact

- Operate and maintain Additive Layer Manufacturing machines, including EOS M290 and EOS M400-4.

- Keep accurate records related to machine operations in SAP and other systems.

- Manage consumables necessary for the additive manufacturing process.

- Participate in cross-training for other job functions, such as manual machining of parts (lathe, mill, EDM, etc.).

- Perform hand finishing of parts and conduct inspection and measurement of components.

- Oversee goods receipt and dispatch to ensure smooth operations.

What You Bring

- A minimum of 3 years of vocational training, complemented by 4-8 years of relevant experience.

- A committed individual who is willing to work the hours necessary to complete tasks effectively, and to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Strong attention to detail, with the capability to follow defined procedures and accurately record results.

- Proficiency in computer skills and good manual dexterity.

- Essential knowledge of basic machine tools and workshop skills, including milling, turning, and bench skills.

- A valid driving license.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
