Job Summary

The Accounting Manager of Corporate Accounting is responsible for coordinating and optimizing outsourced accounting activities. This role ensures alignment with service-level expectations by measuring provider performance, tracking volumes, and maintaining strong collaboration between internal teams and external service partners.

Job Description Key Accountabilities

- Drive execution of complex financial tasks and responsible for reviewing team deliverables

- Selects, develops, motivates and coaches a highly skilled and technical staff to ensure high productivity and quality of work

- Provides support to other departments as a subject matter expert

- Provides technical expertise to support maintenance and improvements of internal systems

Role Specific Accountabilities

:

- Supports compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls and finance transformation initiatives and process improvement efforts.

- Oversees day-to-day coordination of outsourced accounting activities to ensure operational efficiency and service quality.

- Monitors and reports on service provider performance, including volume tracking and SLA compliance.

- Supports process optimization and standardization across outsourced functions.

- Maintains documentation and governance over outsourced processes, controls, and reporting responsibilities.

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, MBA preferred

- 5+ years in Accounting or other Finance field

- Experience preferred in the Energy industry

- 2+ years experience as a Manager / Supervisor

- CPA preferred

- Experience with accounting and/or reporting systems

- Strong leadership, problem solving and communication skills
