Accounting/Finance Intern

Talen Energy is seeking motivated Accounting and Finance Interns to join our Summer 2026 Internship Program. Our internships offer hands-on experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, providing valuable exposure to real-world financial decision-making to guide business performance.

Required Skills

- Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking abilities

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (customizable based on role)

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team in virtual and in-person environments

Basic Qualifications

- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s program in Finance or Accounting or a related field

- Must be a rising sophomore or junior

- Enrolled full-time with a minimum of 12 semester hours

- Maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

- Eligible to work in the U.S. in accordance with BCIS guidelines

- Able to provide an official student transcript and any other required documentation

- Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with others

- Demonstrated leadership potential through academic, extracurricular, or community involvement

- Internship eligibility ends upon graduation from the academic program
