We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary

Provide support to a select group within the CFO organization including Treasury, Financial Planning, Strategy, Investor Relations, Energy Market Analysis, Financial Analysis, and Segment Finance. Potential assignments within the CFO rotational internship include:

- Assist in the development of financial models that forecast and evaluate financial performance of prospective organic investment projects, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, corporate financings, tax considerations, and long-range corporate budgets

- Assist in the planning and execution of capital markets and financing transactions (debt, equity, equity-linked securities, and interest rate derivatives) including due diligence and pro forma financial analysis

- Assist in the execution of merger, acquisition, and divestiture transactions (corporate and asset) including due diligence and pro forma financial analysis

- Assist in the development of presentations for internal (senior management, risk and other internal committees) and external use (investors, rating agencies, strategic partners)

- Participate in meetings with internal and external partners

- Perform market, industry, and company specific research

- Perform additional duties as requested or assigned

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

- Candidates must have an anticipated graduation date of 2027 or 2028.

- Minimum GPA of 3.3 either overall or within major in pursuit of a bachelor's degree from a 4-year institution, majoring in Finance, Accounting, Business, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics

- Demonstrable interest in finance and a desire to gain practical finance experience

- No experience in energy or related industries is required

- Understanding of basic accounting principles and ability to interpret financial data

- Excellent quantitative skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Solid working knowledge of and experience with MS Office applications especially Excel

Education Requirements

- Must be a student in pursuit of a bachelor's degree from a 4-year institution majoring in Finance, Accounting, Business, Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics

- Candidates must have an anticipated graduation date of 2027 or 2028

- Must have a GPA of 3.3 or higher, either overall or within major
