Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to interpret financial reports effectively. The Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting the financial health of the organization through accurate reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities
•
Maintaining Financial Records: record and track all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Reconciling bank statements; Responsible for General Ledger, Accounts Receivable and Payables; Maintains schedules of amortization of prepaid expenses and deferred charges. Ensures compliance with accounting standards and regulations
•
Preparing Financial Statements: Generate key financial reports like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements – monthly, quarterly, annually.
•
Auditing: May conduct internal or external audits to verify the accuracy of financial records and identify potential risks.
•
Tax Preparation and Compliance: Work with CPA firm to calculate tax payments, prepare and file tax returns; ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
•
Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to assess a company's financial health, identify trends, and provide insights for decision-making.
•
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
Requirements
•
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•
Ability to work closely with CEO and Owner on long term investments
•
Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a focus on financial report interpretation.
•
Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and general ledger management.
•
Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
•
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate financial reporting.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
•
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to accounting practices is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $90,000.00 per year
