We are currently looking for an

Account Executive - US

to join our busy and growing business. The successful candidate will be engaged in elevating the area and the company to the next level. The incumbent will be forward looking and thrive in a culture of continuous improvement.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:

Reporting directly to the VP of Global Sales, the Account Executive – US will promote and sell products offered by the organization to key/strategic customers while developing and building strong customer relationships.


Key Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

- Actively promote and sell products offered by the organization

- Solicit new business and generate and qualify new leads and opportunities with the key accounts assigned

- Develop and maintain existing customer relationships

- Research, source, and develop client referrals

- Develop and make presentations of company products, solutions, and services to clients

- Combine technical knowledge and sales skills to demonstrate value-added solutions over competitive offerings

- Participate in trade shows both national and occasionally international

- All other duties as assigned


Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven track record in prospecting, closing, and growing business accounts in preferred related industries of – utility, petro chemical, pipeline, gas control, or instrumentation market segments

- Willing to travel extensively in North America and occasionally internationally, as required

- Knowledge of mechanical, electronic, and communications network processes

- Strong communications skills

- Outstanding customer relationship skills

- Excellent presentation skills and able to communicate with all levels of the organization

- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite software and other productivity tools, specifically in Excel and file formatting

- Must have a good understanding of information systems, both software and hardware applications, and selling equipment related to mechanical or electronics

- Strong experience using Customer Relationship Management software (Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.)

- Time management

- Relationship Building, Leadership, Organizational Awareness

- Proven ability to deliver results

- Effective planning and organizational skills


Educational/Experience Requirements:

- 5-10 years of technical sales experience in selling mechanical, electronic, and/or communication equipment – preferably related to utility, petro chemical, pipeline, gas control, or instrumentation market segments

- Diploma/Degree in either mechanical or electronics engineering, telecommunications or information systems with business aptitude and strong communication skills preferred

- Experience/exposure to a manufacturing products company and environment
