Do you have experience with Sales in the Construction Industry? Sales experience in a Technical Sales role? You could be the candidate that we are seeking. Our Sales Representative role includes a Ford F-150 company truck and all the resources you need to build relationships with our customers and become a successful member of our Sales Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive and deep-rooted business and customer relationships.
- Reach out to customer leads through "cold calling" (to include: cold calls, spontaneous job-site visits, office visits, etc).
- Achieve sales quotas overall and in each sector APS is targeting.
- Coordinate with clients and APS personnel to offer solutions to project requirements: timelines, project work-flows, etc.
- Gather feedback on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and to develop new products and services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and market trends
- Assist A/R with collections on all sold projects.
- Maintain Brand Awareness by staying in front of clients, potential clients, and active involvement in networking events related to APS industry.
- Meet monthly, quarterly and annual goals as agreed on prior to job start and for each planned period.
- Previous work experience in Pipe, Construction or Engineering, Pipe Cleaning, Inspection and Rehab or other related trades is preferred but not required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time while meeting deadlines.
- Highly motivated and target-driven.
- Excellent sales skills and standards; High emphasis on long-term client relations.
- Prioritize time-management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation skills, interpersonal skills; high quality document and report preparation, PowerPoint and Excel proficiency.
- Interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish effective professional relationships with clients, employees and division managers.
- Prior experience supporting construction and field employee groups, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative.
- Commitment to our "open door" policy and regular contact with all field employees.
- Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment which requires strong multi-tasking abilities.
- Key leadership competencies in addition to high ethical standards, strong values, integrity, drive to deliver results, pride in personal and team performance, decision quality, building effective teams, and action orientation are fundamental imperatives.

- Must be comfortable working outside year-round in all types of weather.
- Exposure to varying levels of physical activities. Standing, crouching, walking, crawling. Capable of heavy lifting up to 50 pounds or more.
