Southwest Electric Co. a division of SGB-SMIT USA has provided electrical equipment and services to energy, utility, and industrial clients for over 75 years. We specialize in custom-engineered solutions, transformer services, and switchgear manufacturing.

3rd Shift Supervisor:

Supervises and directs the activities in one or more workstations in an efficient manner to achieve the company goals for safety, quality, productivity and on-time delivery.

3rd Shift Supervisor Responsibilities:

- Hiring and training.

- Supervises groups of employees directly involved in the manufacture of rotating equipment -transformer products.

- Developing group leaders, acting as a mentor, and providing career coaching for employees.

- Support staff on assigned project-based work.

- Continually work in a safe manner in compliance with company environmental, health, and safety rules and guidelines.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED.

8 years of related management experience in a manufacturing environment.
