We are seeking a dynamic candidate to join our location as a 3rd shift Mill Production worker. (will train on 1st shift).

The ideal candidate would have experience in working in an ever-changing, fast-moving, and evolving environment. Candidates who have worked within a Tube mill/manufacturing environment are highly preferred.

Position Summary

This position will support the various plant floor operational needs as part of the overall department teamwork initiative. This position will report to the Mill supervisor.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

· Foster a culture of safety awareness and safety prioritization.

- Competently executing the change-over and set-up as per work instructions

- Thoroughly understanding and efficiently performing designated tasks in the process

- Visually inspecting and dimensionally verifying parts

- Performing general maintenance (i.e. Oiling, greasing, cleaning) on and around equipment

- Housekeeping at designated workstation

- Record keeping

- Follows written and/or verbal instructions

- Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Job Requirements

Education

· High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

· Technical/Vocational Training a Plus

Experience & Certifications

· Experience in a Tube Mill/manufacturing environment preferred.

· Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment preferred.

· Overhead Crane Certified preferred.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.

· Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.

· Close mental and visual attention required, coordinating manual dexterity with mental and visual attention for sustained periods of time.

Pay: From $22.80 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
