2nd Shift-Maintenance Tech

Job Summary

A new division, of an established aerospace company specializing in hot rolling metals, is looking to add a Maintenance Technician with industrial hydraulic and electrical systems. The position will require the person to be including but not limited to, hands-on and spend extensive time on the manufacturing floor while following safety procedures, and responsible for all maintenance activities and responsibilities.

The position is classified as full-time, Non-Exempt. Typical days and hours of work are 2ND SHIFT Monday to Thursday 3PM-1AM. On a workload basis this position may require additional scheduled days and hours.

- Responsible for safety in all activities.

- Expand existing preventive maintenance system.

- Complete all PMS Daily and on time.

- Mechanical repairs on production support equipment and facility maintenance.

- Maintain spare parts inventory.

- Plan, support and execute equipment install and upgrades.

- Light metal fabrication when needed.

- Responsibility for cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas

- 7 years of experience in an industrial maintenance role

- General industrial maintenance skills

- Electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and welding experience

- Systems troubleshooting

- Ability to read prints and schemes for hydraulic and electrical systems.

- Basic Computer Experience.

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Pay: $34.00 - $36.00 per hour
