Overview
Seeking well rounded Maintenance Tech to perform preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment used in metal fabrication and steel production - welders, robotic equipment, roll forming equipment and small hand tools.
- Troubleshoot robotic systems, using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, sensor or feedback systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics. Determine causes of operational problems or failures.
- Perform preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems or components.
- Monitor equipment operation during the shift, addressing any issues that arise and making necessary adjustments to maintain production efficiency
- Follow established maintenance procedures and safety protocols to ensure safe and compliant equipment operation
- Participate in shift handovers, ensuring clear communication of ongoing issues, completed tasks, and any relevant updates to the incoming shift team.
- Associate’s degree or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 2-4 years experience preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex machinery will be advantageous.
