Wind Turbine Support Specialist

ACCIONA Energía, North America, is seeking a Wind Turbine Support Specialist to provide expert technical support across our wind fleet. This role focuses on troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis, and technician training to ensure safe, efficient, and high-performing operations. The specialist serves as a key resource for resolving turbine issues and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide on-site and remote technical support for turbine faults and performance issues

- Lead troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis for electrical and mechanical systems

- Train site technicians and share lessons learned across locations

- Track operating trends and recommend technical/process improvements

- Maintain accurate documentation and support KPI reporting

- Ensure safety compliance and support large corrections when needed

About You

- Strong troubleshooting, RCA, and communication skills

- Comfortable working at heights (up to 300 ft) and lifting up to 50 lbs

- Willing to travel 40%+ domestically and internationally

- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Maximo and Spanish fluency are a plus

In addition to competitive base pay, we offer a range of attractive employment incentives:

- Base Pay: $85,000 - $105,000 (based on experience, education, and skillset)

This position may be based at either our Chicago office, located at 55 E. Monroe St., Suite 2009, or at our DFW Warehouse, located at 1401 W Royal Ln, Irving, TX 75063.
