Welder

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. If you are passionate about welding and fabrication, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

- Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials including sheet metal and other

- Fabricate components according to specifications and blueprints

- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters

- Operate cranes and forklifts safely to move materials around the construction site

- Ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards during all welding processes

- Read and interpret schematics for accurate fabrication

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently

Experience

- Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a manufacturing or construction environment

- Familiarity with various welding methods including FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding)

- Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools for precision work

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues

- Experience in rigging and understanding of basic math principles related to fabrication tasks

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
