Welder (Mig)

Job Summary $1500 Signing Bonus. This is an excellent opportunity for (full time) employment with a well-established ISO Sea Container Sales Company in Baltimore, MD. We are looking for a hard working individual (CERTIFIED) MiG-Welder to modify steel ISO containers. We modify 20ft and 40ft steel containers into special projects, etc. We have 20,000 sq. ft. shop. $1500 Signing Bonus paid if employee employed for 6-months after start.

Salary: $57,000 - $60,000 starting plus overtime

Duties

* $1500 Signing Bonus payable after 6-months continuous employment

* Must have MiG-welding - Experience

* Electrical or Carpentry experience Big Plus

* Must be able to read drawings and precise measurements

* MUST HAVE some stable work history

* MUST BE ON TIME

* MUST HAVE CAR there is no public transportation within 1 mile of our location

* Must be in good physical condition to handle physical demands of job

* Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications

* Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions

* Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments

* Inspect welds to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications

* Perform related tasks such as cutting metal with power tools and grinding welded surfaces

Skills

* Proficient in MIG welding techniques including Stick welding and FCAW

* Ability to build, solder, assemble, and fabricate metal components

* Experience working on construction sites or in a manufacturing environment

* Mechanical knowledge for operating and maintaining welding equipment

* Familiarity with machining processes is a plus

* Competent in using various power tools for metalworking tasks
