Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards while producing quality work.
Responsibilities
•
Perform MIG welding on various materials according to project specifications.
•
Operate and maintain welding equipment, including press brake machines and hand tools.
•
Utilize cranes for lifting heavy materials as needed during the welding process.
•
Conduct inspections of completed welds for quality assurance and compliance with industry standards.
•
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
•
Assist in pipe threading and ductwork fabrication as required.
•
Use micrometers and other measuring tools to ensure precise dimensions in all work.
•
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace.
Requirements
•
Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role in a manufacturing or construction environment.
•
Proficiency in stick welding is a plus.
•
Familiarity with machining processes and soldering techniques is desirable.
•
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
•
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•
Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds).
•
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
•
Bilingual a plus
