Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have pipe welding and or fitting experiance , and a general understanding of welding and fabrication, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. This role involves working with various materials and utilizing a range of welding techniques to assemble and repair various pipe assemblies metal, tructures and components. A commitment to safety and quality workmanship is essential. Preference given to some one with CAD software experiance

Responsibilities

- Perform SMAW, MIG and TIG welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet specifications.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.

- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as plasma cutters, press brake machines, and forklifts effectively.

- Conduct assembly tasks for piping systems, and other metal structures in accordance with project specifications.

- Execute rigging tasks safely when moving heavy components or materials.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals within designated timelines.

- Perform basic math calculations for measurements and material requirements as needed.

- Most work conducted at various clients sites, 75% onsite 25% in shop

Qualifications

- Proven experience in welding, fabrication, pipe fitting or a related manufacturing field is required.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machinery safely.

- Familiarity with rigging techniques and equipment is preferred.

- Proficient in using , hand tools, power tools, and other welding equipment.

- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents accurately is essential.

- Experience with pipe work or construction projects is a plus.

- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
