Summary

We are seeking a skilled pipe layer helper to join our dynamic team at PEAK Contracting Services Inc. As a pipe layer helper, you will play a critical role in the installation and maintenance of pipelines, ensuring that our projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

•

Assisting with pipe assembly, connection, and installation: This involves laying pipe to grade, aligning and joining pipe sections, and ensuring proper backfilling.

•

Supporting trenching and pipe-laying activities: This includes general labor duties during trenching and pipe-laying.

•

Cleaning and soaping pipes: This prepares the pipes for installation and ensures proper sealing.

•

Ensuring pipe alignment: This is crucial for a smooth and efficient installation.

•

Assisting with the installation of valves, hydrants, air shoring, and box culverts: This may include assisting with the installation of concrete pipe, PVC pipe, and manholes.

•

General maintenance of equipment and tools: This ensures the safety and efficiency of the crew.

Requirements:

Physical strength and stamina: This is essential for lifting and handling heavy pipes and tools.

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team: This is crucial for safety and efficiency.
