Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in both residential and commercial plumbing. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and comply with safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Duties
•Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
•Read and interpret schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
•Perform pipe threading and ensure proper connections for water supply and drainage systems.
•Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues or necessary repairs.
•Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure plumbing installations meet project specifications.
•Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various plumbing tasks.
•Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area during projects.
•Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their plumbing needs.
Skills
•Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing systems and components.
•Proficiency in blueprint reading to accurately interpret plans for installation or repairs.
•Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety protocols.
•Valid commercial driving license is preferred for transporting materials to job sites. (Not a requirement)
•Ability to plumb various types of fixtures including sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters.
•Familiarity with schematics for efficient troubleshooting of plumbing issues.
•General maintenance person skills that complement plumbing expertise are a plus.
•Competence in pipe threading techniques for secure fittings in plumbing installations.
•Knowledge of construction plumbing practices to ensure compliance with industry standards.
•Proficient use of hand tools essential for plumbing tasks such as wrenches, cutters, and drills.
