Fire and Water Restoration Technician

ADH Disaster Restoration is a leader in emergency property restoration services, ADH helps families and businesses overcome the devastating setbacks caused by natural causes, water, fire, mold and other disasters resulting in property damage. We are looking for a restoration technician to join our team. We are a company that serves their customers and communities with a servant-based leadership mindset. We strive to perform disaster restoration services for our customers and ensure all their needs are met.
You will be working with customers in their homes or places of business to help clean up after property damage. Our technician assists the team and the Project Managers with all aspects of the restoration work on residential and commercial job sites. You will be responsible for assessing the site, placing and monitoring equipment, communicating with customers related to expectations of each job, and completing demolition and clean up as needed. You must be reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment, while achieving the highest level of customer service possible.
Duties & Responsibilities:
•Water extraction and mitigation, Fire and smoke cleaning and restoration
•Structural board-up and site stabilization, equipment set up, monitoring and breakdown
•Content handling/storage
•Field management and some supervision of all temporary labor personnel
•Manage and maintain a clean and organized appearance of equipment, material and consumables on job site and the ADH warehouse
•Manage and maintain inventories of all equipment, material, consumables and tools,
•Emergency Mitigation and On Call Rotation
•Must have excellent attention to detail and be able to complete forms and documentation daily as required such as moisture logs, safety logs and diagrams
•Provide the highest level of customer service
•Clear communication with immediate supervisor, administrative team and fellow technicians
•Accurately take moisture readings and document work using restoration software (e.g., Encircle, MICA, etc.)
•Drive a company vehicle to and from job sites
Qualifications & Experience:
•3-4 year of restoration industry experience is preferred
•Fire & smoke, water damage, and microbial remediation is preferred
•IICRC certification in water damage or mold remediation preferred but not required
•WRT Certification is a PLUS!
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Maintain a valid and current driver’s license with a clean driving record
•Multitasking and handling deadlines are a must
•Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
•Ability to speak and write English well
Job Type:
Part-time to Full-time position depending on work load
Regular hours are 8-5pm Monday - Friday
Able to work overtime as needed
Required to work weekends and ‘on-call” for emergencies
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour - depending on experience
